Laminating Printing Process Quality Standards

For laminating paper boxes, laminating focuses on the composite strength. Composite strength refers to the laminated products in the plastic film and paper prints between the adhesive fastness. Its size depends on the plastic film, paper prints and adhesives between the size of the adhesive. When laminating, the adhesive force mainly comes from the plastic film, paper prints and adhesive mechanical bonding force and physical and chemical bonding force.

The key to the fastness lies in the affinity between the adhesive and the print (ink and substrate). In the laminating industry, printing inks are not optional. The only option is to adapt the laminating film to the ink market, so the pre-coated film needs to adapt to the performance of all inks. The process parameters and printing during the lamination production process will affect the finished product.
